True Patiots: Launch Party!


March 12, 2020. I had my Montreal launch party at Café Shaika on Sherbrooke St. W in NDG. Introduced by Licia Canton, mentor and editor, it was wonderful experience. The next day (!) the covid lockdown began. My other planned launch parties in Halifax and Guelph were cancelled.
Eden Mills Writers’ Festival: Update on past contest winners

I won an emerging writer award at the 2019 Eden Mills Writers’ Festival, next door to Rockwood, the village where I grew up. Very special to come back. I met the festival organizer and realized that she my high school English teacher!
